Last updated: October 27, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using 2FA Auth you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

2FA Auth generates time-based one-time passwords from a secret key that you provide. It is a free tool offered as is.

Acceptable use

Your responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your secret keys and backup codes safe, for keeping your device clock accurate, and for any use of codes generated here. Saved accounts are stored in your browser in plain text, so use that feature only on devices you trust.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every service will accept the codes it generates.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of access, data, or other damages arising from your use of the tool.

Third-party services

Services such as Google, Facebook and others belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with them.

Changes

We may change these terms or the service at any time. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
